What is the National Service Scheme (NSS)?
National Service Scheme, popularity as NSS is an extension dimension to the higher educaton system to orient he student youth to community service while they are studying in educational institutions, under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
NSS launched on 24th September, 1969 by Education Minister Dr V.K.R.V. Rao in 37 universities covering all states.
